What you need to do?
Send 1300g (3 pounds) of soil to the UK address we will email you on confirmation of your order
Sampling & Sending
- Sample a maximum of 2 Ha per sample
- 40 probes in a W pattern up to 25 cm depth
- Collect around 1.3 L of soil in a plastic bag
- Send your sample to Eurofins Agro by express courier
Storage
It is important to send the samples as soon as possible after sampling and store them in the fridge in the meantime. PLFA’s will be broken down when kept at room temperature. This process is slowed down when kept in the fridge and almost completely stops in the freezer. When samples need to be stored for longer than 1 week, please store them in a freezer at -20˚C. Samples that have been stored at room temperature for longer than 3 weeks will not give reliable results.
