BioFil Microbiological, Biotechnological and Biochemical Ltd. was established in 1999 by Hungarian individuals working in the field of research and development (R&D).
The company has run a successful business in the twenty years of its existence, continuously growing in the number of research topics and publications.
Our company's main profile is the R&D of microbiological preparations for agricultural use. The farmers who have been successfully using Biofil products since 2001 quickly became loyal customers due to Biofil’s continued performance.
The biggest success of the company is the BioFil product line for soil inoculation, which was launched in 2014. BioFil products provide an environmental friendly and cost effective solution in reduction of the excessive use of artificial N, P and K fertilisation on cultivated land. BioFil products are the first products in the world which are soil-specific – they ameliorate, nourish and treat acidic, normal and alkaline soils. Besides these benefits BioFil products provide an effective solution for soya and pea inoculation. As a new product, BioFil Post-Harvest provides nutrients to crops and soils by degrading crop residues (e.g. maize, sunflower) effectively, by preparing nutrient supply for the next generation of crops and at the same time by facilitating tilling and other agricultural activities.
