Pedestals

Grain Cooling Pedestals and their ability to enable continued, stable, airflow through crop stored in a grain store, are as important as the grain cooling fans used to facilitate the air movement.  All our grain cooling pedestals are proudly manufactured in England, supporting British Manufacturing.

  • Polycool are robust plastic grain cooling pedestals, developed in conjunction with ADAS in 1996. They are slotted to facilitate maximum air movement when used with a range of fan sizes. Polycool pedestals are available in two sizes, depending on storage depths.
  • Metalcool grain cooling pedestals are perfect for small grains, especially oil seed rape.  The unique louvred shaped slots ensure equal air distribution is maintained whilst increasing integral pedestal strength.
  • Hot Spot Spears enable grain cooling to be targeted right into the middle of any grain pile hot spots exactly where cooling is needed.
  • Polycool Laterals are perfect for cooling crops in grain stores filled by overhead conveyors.
