Your silage is an incredibly valuable resource. It provides you with an economical way of feeding your livestock, whilst maintaining their performance. However, each silage is very different. Therefore, without information on its nutritional composition, it is not possible to optimise rations and get the most from your herd.

Our forage analysis provides you the information you need to get the most from your silage. This helps you to optimise yield and quality, whilst minimising cost.

Our approach to forage testing, in which samples are dried and ground into a homogeneous powder before Near Infrared Spectroscopy (NIRS) analysis is performed, is designed to give you the most accurate results possible. This technique, new to the UK & Ireland, utilises our unrivalled proprietary database containing thousands of NIR spectra. The number of data-points in this database is far greater than those contained within most conventional databases in use in Ireland. This enables us to reliably derive a great number of different parameters for a wide range of common roughages, raw materials and Total Mixed Ration (TMR).
