Fire First Aid: All Round Protection

The Fire Safety Stick is a simple and easy way to ensure that you can respond quickly in the event of a fire.  Before activation, it is not pressurised, contains no gas and is extremely durable – so ideal for use on agricultural vehicles as part of your fire safety toolkit.

Not only is it environmentally friendly, it is also safe for people and livestock and will not damage your machinery.  Weighing just 215g or 365g, it is small and light enough to be held in one hand, has a shelf life of over 15 years, and needs no annual servicing.  It comes in two sizes, offering either 50 seconds or 100 seconds of discharge time.

The size and portability advantages of the Fire Safety Stick make it extremely quick and easy to deploy, for a rapid response that could prevent a small fire from taking hold and getting out of control.  It can also be activated and left in an enclosed space to repress a fire whilst the occupants escape to safety and await the fire brigade - potentially limiting spread and preventing it from becoming a threat to life or property.

Unlike conventional pressurised extinguishers, it needs no annual servicing and has an incredible 15-year shelf life.  No danger from pressurised containers which can discharge accidentally or malfunction.  Store the Fire Safety Stick in an easily accessible place.  Strike the activator, point the nozzle at the base of the flames to smother the fire at its core.  It’s so easy, anyone could do it!

Fire Safety Stick uses a vapour to chemically interrupt the fire’s chain of combustion.  This can get into the hard-to-reach areas of a vehicle – e.g. behind mesh grilles and around working parts – which are typically hard to access with a conventional extinguisher.  The Fire Safety Stick leaves no damaging or messy residue after discharge, meaning no extra damage or mess over and above that caused by the fire.

Fire Safety Stick is also ideal for use in the home, car or caravan, being safe and intuitive to use in preventing the spread of small fires with a variety of different causes – including cooking oil, appliance, electrical or even chimney fires.

Additional information

  • Small, ultra-light and portable – weighing just 215g or 365g and measuring under 35cm x 3cm - it can be mounted within arm’s reach, without creating an obstruction or taking up valuable space.
  • Two sizes, offering either 50 seconds or 100 seconds of discharge time (compared to 5-7 seconds from a traditional 1kg powder extinguisher).
  • Suitable for more fire types than other conventional extinguishers - certified for classes A, B, C, Electrical up to 100,000volts and F.
  • Safe to breathe in a confined space.
  • Environmentally friendly and fully recyclable.
  • Tested 15-year shelf life, with no need for annual servicing.
  • Multiple successes in rally cars, vans, motorhomes, caravans, boats, tractors and combines – and in the home.  Fire Safety Stick is now being carried in some UK emergency services vehicles and is even used in Formula One!

Please remember that ALL FIRE EXTINGUISHERS are intended to deal with fires at the very early stages and to aid escape.  Once a fire gets too big, then do not try to fight the fire (but do remember to leave the activated Fire Safety Stick to repress the fire and close the door behind you).
